The 3rd edition of the Skiathos hiking map is completely redesigned, enriched with new information collected exclusively in the field, and updated throughout the island.
Although Skiathos is famous for its beaches and luxury hotels rather than as a hiking destination, this lush island of the Northern Sporades is full of beautiful trails crossing through the pine forests, past springs and old chapels and reaching remote sandy beaches. A real joy for hiking enthusiasts!
The new version of the map at 1:20.000 shows all the paths of the island with accurate point-to-point distances, making it an indispensable guide to explore the island on foot.
Moreover, a wealth of information is shown on this map, including all the beaches with their names, monasteries and chapels, as well as all the large hotel complexes of the island.
The reverse side features an illustrated mini travel guide, with information on the island’s natural environment, beaches and major attractions. Also included is an inset map of the town of Skiathos in the scale of 1:4.000, marking all hotels and points of interest.
